Our commitment to sustainability centers around three key pillars: promoting well-being, ensuring product sustainability, and maintaining responsible processes. Below, we expand on each of these areas.

Promoting Well-Being

Feeling good and enjoying everyday life is something we all desire. We believe that supporting a person’s overall well-being—both physical and mental—is fundamental. When individuals are healthy and balanced, they can truly pursue their aspirations. Moreover, people who feel well tend to spread positivity and well-being to those around them.

At the core of everything we do is the well-being of our customers. We aim to create products that meet their needs and enhance their quality of life. We firmly believe that by improving the lives of our customers, we contribute positively to society as a whole.

As a small Finnish company, we operate as one unified team. We prioritize the well-being of every team member, knowing that a positive work environment enables everyone to contribute meaningfully. Even though our team works across various locations in Finland, we maintain a strong sense of unity—sharing both successes and challenges together, valuing every individual equally.

Product Sustainability

Sustainability is integrated into our products from the very beginning—starting with the idea and continuing through design and manufacturing. We focus on efficient use of materials and components and strive to incorporate leftover materials whenever possible.

Our products are designed not only to look appealing and feel comfortable but also to perform well across different environments and withstand wear over time. We select durable and responsible materials based on thorough research and ongoing developments in material science. Whenever feasible, we incorporate recycled materials into our products without compromising quality.

The essence of our Nordic design philosophy is to craft footwear that supports foot health and is stylish enough for everyday use. We aim to create shoes that customers will want to wear regularly, not just leave unused.

Responsible Processes

Our partners in product development and manufacturing follow responsible practices, complying with international standards, certifications, and regulations. Currently, our products are manufactured in China, where we also collaborate closely on design. We require all our production partners to hold valid social responsibility certifications such as Amfori BSCI, SMETA audits, or a commitment to SA8000 standards. Additionally, we expect suppliers to continuously improve their operations based on audit feedback. These principles ensure consistent and transparent production methods.

Logistics plays a crucial role in the sustainability of our products since manufacturing occurs abroad. We select manufacturers, suppliers, and shipping routes based on sustainability criteria. The majority of our products are transported to Finland by rail, which is presently the most environmentally friendly option. For intercontinental shipments, we partner with DHL, a leader in green logistics.

Our products are stored in Vantaa, Finland, from where they are shipped to customers.
